Rate of absorbance change is higher with sample than the standard in Superoxide dismutase assay, what might be the problem?

Hello everyone

I was doing SOD assay following pyrogallol autooxidation method by Marklund and marklund. the problem comes when the rate of auto oxidation after adding the sample is higher than the standard. the absorbance change is standard is nearly 0.04/ min and in sample it is 0.05/min.
