1. Sensitivity of the XRD data on precise alignment.

2. Unwillingness to verify alignment prior to each measurement. Time prohibitive!

3. Unavailability of a real time tool to precisely "re-align" rapidly & quantitatively.

4. Lack of training in the awesome art & science of XRD. Like the use of internal/external standards.

5. Other.?

Please share your opinion and experiences. I'm sure there is plenty of it in this group of 5 RG topics I'm exploring first: 1. Advanced Materials, 2. Powder XRD, 3. Applied X-Ray Crystallography, 4. XRD Analysis, & 5. X-ray Diffraction. I chose these topics using the number of followers for each topic as a criterion in order to maximize exposure to the most relevant RG members.
