I thinks every body knows this drug is very old one with a major side effect of causing severe reduction in plasma glucose levels. I am interested in this side effects to convert it into a positive use to in the treatment of diabetes. Similar example exists for Minoxidil that was previously used in cardiac illness with side effects of increasing hair growth finally the drug became available in market as skin cream to treat baldness till now a good aid in hair growth.
