Hi, please , i would like to know if the acetogenins are hydrophilic or lipophilic in nature, therefore, soluble in water or in organic solvents? because they contain methyl lactone and tetrahydrofuran (THF) groups but also long carbon chains. so ,

2- Is an infusion of the leaves of the plant able to contain acetogenins?

3- Can we separate them by GC-MS chromatograpy?

4- By Analytical TLC, we can identify the acetogenins by Kedde reagent revelation, how after, we can quantify them by spectrophotometry?
