Can you please help me,
I have done a COMSOL simulation and my result is a 3D plot with slices. The problem is that when I want to export or play the animation, the result is different from the 3D plot; actually, the animation doesn't show any changes (although the player seems to be playing) and it is not similar to the 3D plot.
However, when I change the time and plot the 3D plot, it shows the differences between the two times; but the animation doesn't show anything.
I have attached the 3D plot and an image of the animation.
Are you sure that the correct plot is selected under the Animation node (you probably are)? Are you looping over Stored Solutions, Dynamic Solutions or what under Animation Editing?
I don't use COMSOL, but if you can export the data, Tecplot and TP2 will readily slice a 3D volume. I've done it many, many times. You have to use a macro with Tecplot, but TP2 will slice on the fly by pressing the up/down left/right home/end keys.

I think you should try selecting the whole time data set for the animation to get the variation with respect to time, if not done.
