The choice of "best" statistical method (for any statistical software package, not just spss) depends on: (a) your specific research question/s; (b) the number and nature of the variables involved and how each is quantified; (c) the sample size; and (d) data collection method.

It sounds as if the lone outcome variable of interest was result status: Positive or negative.

But, it's not clear as to how many independent variables you have, how many replications of each you have, how each is quantified, and total N. Regardless of the other features, if your total N was, in fact, 5 cases, that would not offer much statistical power for hypothesis testing or precision for any parameter estimates you might wish to make.

So, if you could elaborate a bit on your study, I suspect you'd get a lot more focused recommendations.
