This is our first research paper and it is titled "Effect of Peer Connection on Attitude Towards School and Academic Motivation in Higher School Students During Pandemic". We aim to investigate the effect peers have on attitude towards school and academic motivation. I have collected quantitative data from 80 students and used 3 Likert scales through Google Forms (one for peer connect, one for attitude towards school, and the last for academic motivation). Now the problem I'm facing is with the analysis. It's not clear whether I have to calculate each individual's score for each scale and how do I use it. I would be very grateful if someone could simplify things for me (a beginner in research, pls help)

Yes, the idea is that you would calculate a value for each participant for each of these three scales. There should be a method to calculate the final value for each scale. For example, some questions may get a positive value (e.g. a 5 adds to the final score more than does a 1), but some questions may get a negative value (e.g. a 5 adds to the final score less than does a 1). Taking this into account, responses might be summed or averaged to get the scale score. Also, you may need a plan to handle any missing responses.
Are these published scales? Or something your team designed?
Since they are published, there might be instructions somewhere on which questions should be re-coded. (Or this may be obvious to you). It also gives you some interpretation (after the questions) if you want to categorize your respondents according to the subscale... Having this kind of information for your scales may be helpful.
