Hi Kathirvel ! You should specify which kind of centrifuge and FC are they?. Centrifuge for eppendorf? with chambers?. Or do you want to know if they are good brands?
we are looking for the centrifuge machine with rotor should fix it for 50ml Falcon tube like we need 17,000 rpm and 3-5 degreee celsius. . and flow cytometry also not only for cell countling assays apart from that willl it come with other immunological testing....
Well regarding Flowcytometer before making a final decision on "THE BD FACS CALIBUR" you may like to check out the new Accuri C6 from BD. Its a marvellous instrument with a dimension of almost a normal cold centrifuge, easy to handle with a 90% reduced complicity in handling of the software which is now on Windows platform as well. The usual requirement of the costly Sheath Fluid is now replaced by easily available de - ionized water.
The only con is you may never be able to do an attachment for a sorter.
N the major Pro is that it comes half the price of the FACS Calibur.
I've seen several clinical applications with BD FACSCanto II & FACSDiva software: impressive system, though I don't know precisely how much it can affect budget limitations..Surely it's not a cheap system...:)
In our lab we have a FACSCalibur flow cytometer, I think the best is to have a flow cytometry able to sort cells and last years I followed a presentation of a new instrument called image stream flow cytometry from Amnis! I think you hal to look at that! :)
The image stream flow cytometry is not a sorter but it combined the features of a flow cytometry with the properties of a "confocal microscopy" .... so, it depend on the type of research and information you are interested in. By by..
