i need to check if a compound has been tested for a certain protein. Pubmed seems to have such info but there is a ton of things and very confusing
i need two straight process
1) A list of all the targets assayed by a compound
2) List of all the compounds assay for a target
A random example would be to verify paracetamol as DPP4 inhibitor and also get a list of all DPP4 inhibitors to date (who updates these data n how frequently?) can anyone help?
Within PubMed, there is a database called PubChem, which allows you to search by bioassay or by compound. You could also try BRENDA (brenda-enzymes.org), which includes published information on the inhibitors of specific enzymes and can also be searched by compound.
For example, here is a list of enzymes inhibited by paracetamol in BRENDA:

DPP4 was not listed, by the way.
Paracetamol also was not on the BRENDA list of DPP4 inhibitors:

In Brenda 2nd option was good but first one not make sense, if i do inhibitor search for paracetamol only get 8 results but COX is not there!
