Educational practices like the Repeating-Class Complex (RCC) cannot be universally abolished without considering the cultural, social, and psychological realities of specific regions. In many communities, RCC serves not only to address academic under performance but also to correct behavioral issues, especially in an era where social media platforms like TikTok are shifting students’ priorities away from education. Many learners today exhibit poor attitudes toward learning, indiscipline, and a lack of respect for teachers, making RCC a necessary tool for instilling discipline and accountability. Simply switching to a credit-based system without addressing these underlying issues may undermine both academic and behavioral development.
