initially u shld be doing biochemical identification tests, can buy kit or look int bergey's manual of bacteriology for details. then for confirming you may do 16S rRNA sequencing..

The same hi media is only the best way to isolate a pseudomonas species and catalase , oxidase test is enough for their identification test.

King's B also best medium for the isolation of Pseudomonas spp., u can try it.

Salam, you can try PIA-F or PIA-P from merck (both are Pseudomonas Isolation agar with Fluorescence and Pyocianin) i used to try it before. and with the advancement of technology, u can also using the Biolog Microlog identification systems, but the hurdler part is cost invlove.

If you really want to know, just do the 16S. If you are concerned about screening a large number, grow them on a microtiter and screen them by ELISA.

16s rRNA method is best acceptable..

but for personal confirmation you can use cetrimide agar the cheapest way
