I want to perform an ICC double stain for cells cultured on a glass coverslip. I have mouse antibodies for protein A, and rabbit antibodies for protein B, as well as the corresponding antibodies linked to HRP. I have AEC solution for HRP visualization, and aqueous mounting solution. Is there a way to sequentially probe for one protein, visualize, and then completely strip that antibody to then probe for the second protein? I would then be able to counterstain the second HRP visualization and overlap the images to show co-localization.
