Propidium Iodide- which volume to resuspend in for ~50k cells?

Hello everyone,

I am attempting to perform a PI assay as a cell viability assay (without fixation). I've seen many different recommendations for resuspension volume (from 150 ul to 1 ml). My cells after treatment should be around 40-100k per treatment. Does anyone have a suggestion of a volume for resuspension?
