Graphene oxide have high conductivity due to mobility of an electron. It doesn't have any bandgap like metals but have high conductivity for different storage applications etc.. For example i have taken A semiconductor and A has a band gap more than 3 eV. Here my conditions are A semiconductor should not be doped by any other metal or should not be incorporated by any other carbon material but A semiconductor has to increase it's surface area like graphene and it's conductivity also but that A semiconductor material should be useful in many applications like graphene oxide. Is there any method or process or anything else to gain one semiconductor material properties like a graphene surface area and graphene conducting property? Please suggest.
