Respected all, Please tell me the what type of questions they will ask in interview about basics in solid state physics and quantum physics (basic level)? crystallography, properties, graphs, superconductivity and quantum mechanics basic questions. Charles Kittel taught solid state physics at Berkeley 27 years. His wonderful book Introduction to Solid State Physics (for instance, sixth edition, John Wiley &Sons, Inc.) is recognized worldwide. Each chapter there has basic level problems requiring sometimes a certain familiarity with quantum mechanics. If the goal is to be well rounded across the entire course and be ready for an interview, it is the way to go.
