Can I use Wizard Midiprep DNA purification Resin 7M Guanidine HCl (Cat #A770A) as an alternate to Wizard® DNA Clean-Up Resin (Cat# A731A) while using Promega Wizard DNA Clean-Up System for purifying Restriction digestion plasmid preparations? and/ or if anybody have knowledge of the Clean-Up Resin composition please do share.
You probably can. The only thing that changes between those silica resin slurries is the specific chaotrope used (perchlorate, guanidium isothiocyanate, etc) depending on the specific downstream application. Never done it myself, though.
