I am working on a project to optimize parameters in oleogel development and I planned to use Response Surface Methodology. I have used MINITAB for the same design earlier for some other projects. But I found from literature that many scholars use Design Expert software for such optimization. Therefore I need to know whether Design Expert is superior in applications for RSM or both are similar in their applications for RSM?
I kindly expect your suggestions if you are expert in using these software to do RSM? I have decide it before I purchase the Design Expert.

I used both Minitab and Design Expert...it does not take long to run your data in both, I used diagrams/plots generated from both in my publications, but mostly from Design expert for the response surface. Minitab shows the statistics better imo
