Dear Colleagues,
I am currently undertaking a systematic review and trying to collect data on apnoea hypopnea index for a meta-analysis. Unfortunately the papers have reported the data in slightly different ways. Some have reported least squares mean change and some have reported observed mean change. The remaining studies have reported baseline and end point values. I have managed to convert confidence intervals and standard errors to standard deviations but I am unsure if there would be a way of converting the data to a standardised form. Has anyone come across this or have any recommendations? If not then I believe it wouldn't be feasible to conduct a meta-analysis for this set of data.

For studies that report baseline and end point values, you should be able to calculate the arithmetic mean yourself. For meta-analyzing least squares means with arithmetic means, please see the following thread:
