I am planning to label Caco-2 cell membranes for my experiments and would appreciate recommendations on the best primary antibody for this purpose. I am looking for antibodies that specifically target the plasma membrane of Caco-2 cells with high specificity and minimal cross-reactivity.
If anyone has experience or can suggest a well-established antibody for membrane labeling in Caco-2 cells, I would be grateful for your insights.
E-Cadherin is a good marker to label the membrane of Caco-2 cells because it is found on their surface. get antibodies from Abcam. To use, fix the cells with 4% PFA, block with 5% BSA, and add the primary antibody at 1:100–1:500 dilution. Then, add a fluorescent secondary antibody if needed and mount the sample for imaging. These antibodies are reliable and work well for Caco-2 membrane labeling.
