I want to prepare sodium polysulfide compounds (Na2Sx). I am targeting for Na2S6 and my solvent is TEGDME. I know that the reaction is

Na2S + 5S = Na2S6

If I follow this reaction and add the two (Na2S and S) in required amounts, will it lead to Na2S6?

If I use this reaction, Na2S + 6.17S what will I get?

Thank you
