I'm use to use SigmaPlot ten year ago. For my opinion Origin have more functions and richest possibilities for data treatment.

I am using sigmaplot and spss also. Sigmaplot is easy and nice softwere with basic function.

I prefer SIgmaPlot, But I used Origin during more than one year also. The great feature of Origin is that you can use all data sheets for one Graph Page. You can have Graph Page with several plots, and each Plot can have data from different Section so all data are available simultanously.. In contrary in SIgma Plot each data for Plot in each GraphPage from one Section must belong to the same Section..

I am using both but I feel more flexibility for different types of graphs in same page using in Origin Pro.
