Thanks so much for help and favorable reply. The problem that I found that all papers detect intermediates of 4 chlorophenoxyacetic acid after degradation by using GC/MS and We have only LC/MS in our lab. Please, can you confirm that with any paper using HPLC/MS for detecting intermediates.

Both GC/MS and HPLC-MS can be used to detect the intermediates such as chlorophenol derivatives. I suggest you exploit one of the procedures that I sent you using HPLC/MS.
