Hello everyone, i am a student studying in fourth year of cardio-thoracic technology. i had an assignment to interprete the value of hemodynamic monitoring in patient undergoing PBMV. the red circle is what i don't understand, what is the cause of a lower value of RA oxygen saturation compared with IVC AND SVC oxygen saturation ?

Dear C. Sukpurm, one of the explanations may be: there was preexisting raised PAP due to MS which caused tricuspid regurgitation > increased venous admixture in RA > causing a low mixed venous SaO2 than those of in SVC and IVC. That PH might not be corrected immediately after PTMC but hopefully, it will improve soon. Regards- Rabiul
