I have been looking at 3 different cell lines to see the effect of proliferation (measured in OD). For each there are 4 repeats and measurements were taken at 6 time points.
Some on has said to do a mann whitney u test- which I cant figure out how to include all of my repeats even if i just look at the difference between the first and last time point?
But it there a way to actually compare the line that is produced if I were to plot the graph?
The Mann-Whitney U test is for pairwise comparisons, as far as I know. For your design it looks like you would be better off with a mixed ANOVA, or a linear mixed effects model.
If growth will be not linear when possible to calculate speed or doubling time from fitted logarithmic growth model and compare groups by using One-wayANOVA and post-test with correction of multiple comparisons.
