Dear All,

I have been working with TNF alpha (-308/-238)and Resistin (-420/+299) SNPs. One of thesis reviewer has asked me to mentioned r2 values for TNF alpha (-308/-238) and Resistin (-420/+299)SNPs in my population. I got r2=0.076 value for -308/-238 TNF SNP (for patients) and r2= 0.11(for control). Similarly for resistin -420/299 in patient, r2= 0.017 and 0.014 for control group. Please suggest me what does these values indicate? And also tell me how to mention these values? Should i calculate r2 value for TNF alpha and resistin separately for both patients and control group?? And then how to mention these values in thesis as reviewer has asked me to mention r2 values for both SNPs in both genes separately for my POPULATION? Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks
