Shimadzu HPLC FRC-10A - fraction collection based on time slices. I want 1-minute time slices collected from chromatogram, What FRC parameters do I need? e.g. set "Divide time" to 1 at 5.00 min, but this command is ignored if the baseline drops below -4500 uV at any point after 5 min. Has anyone got a set of parameters to ensure that fractions are guaranteed to be collected based on time, and fully ignore slope, level or width? Thanks in advance, Michael

As you said when the baseline is dropping down to-4500 uv. first of all we need to know why it is happening. Is it due to the diluent you are using for sample preparation or the mobile phase using for elution or due to the contamination of the flow cell or the gradient you are using (enough equilibration with mobile phase before injecting the sample).
The actual fraction collector what you are using and what are the fraction collection settings are available you did not mentioned.
Genereally, set the fraction time from and to as your desired peak start and end and disable the threshold and slope(do not keep '0').
