The photocatalytic degradation of dyes has been investigated throughout the world irrespective of the level of science in that country.What are the factors that addresses the limitations of the consideration of this topic under the experimental parameters and how the study can be directed in future.
Dear Ankush Sharma, the question is very broad, at least you should specify the substrat for the photodegradation. For instance, TiO2 seems to be the most attracting in many photocatalytic processes. My Regards
From my personal perspective, and taking into account that this is one of the lines of research in which we work in my laboratory, photodegradation necessarily involves developing more efficient catalysts, fully recoverable and regenerable, and cheap enough. In the future it is expected that photodegradation systems will be much more standard and that the catalysts will practically regenerate themselves, without the need for tedious recovery, washing and reactivation processes. Among the most promising currently being used are those based on two-dimensional nanomaterial heterojunctions (ZnO + g-C3N4 + MoS2 ... etc ...)
