hallo i am working on pd based catalyst and using sodium borohydrate and hydrogen gas for the reduction of pd metal.but i m not getting consistent results from my different catalyst of same composition.please suggest me to get consistent results.
If there is no leak in your furnace (H2-treatment needs to be at elevated temperature) try perhaps annealing in inert gas. 300C should be sufficient to reduce Pd. But particle size may grow. - If you are preparing Pd-alloys, the question cannot be answered in general. GH
sir I am heating my sample at 300c for 4 hours. I got good results first time but now these are not so.can I do this at higher temperature?. while in the innert atmosphere I have been trying but no results(mean activity).
First thing is what is your Pd support?, If you have CeO2 like materials It's difficult to reduce total Pd. Second one how big the particles, in some cases core of the Pd particle can be PdO. But how you measuring Pd metal?
