The mobility of electron is higher than the hole, so n type semiconductors have higher mobility but p type semiconductors are more immune to noise in general when compared to n type semiconductors.
When we are talking about the mobility in semiconductors, we mean the mobility of density of the minority carriers which are electrons for p-type semiconductor and holes for n-type. Mobility of electron is more than hole cause of different reasons such as a lower effective mass in electron (often), less dependence of electron on the nuclear, higher carrier lifetime for electron cause of lower scattering in p-type material, having excitation energy in electron. These factors should be considered in the minority of carriers in a p- or n-type medium.
