I am modelling a superheater in simulink. Is there any correlation to find overall heat transfer coefficient of superheater with respect to temperature? Or is there any constant reference value to consider . Please let me know.
I don't think so. The overall heat transfer coefficient is dependent on geometry (number of tubes and passes, tube inner and outer diameter, tube length, arrangement type, longitudinal and transverse pitch), tube material, and flow rates of both streams (flue gas and steam).
So it is independent of temperature but is in relation with temperature rise of steam. However, as I said there are many other important parameters.
