Our lab. Need to buy ICP-MS. Could you recommend us heavy duty model, its specifications and company? most of our samples are blood, serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
It depends on what you are looking at. However, Agilent, Perkin Elmer and Thermo Scientific are the most used and best brands. You can go to their websites and choose the right one for your needs.

Depending on my experience i will recommend you Thermo Scientific iCAP-Q ICP-MS. As i have been using it daily for about three years for elemental analysis. And my supervisor used to use it one day a week for blood plasma analysis and it still working efficiently. It doesn't mean that other types are bad my openion based on my experience only. Currently there is an advanced type of Thermo Scientific iCAP TQ ICP-MS as far as i know.

Agilent ICP-MS is the best than any other in the world. I have also experience to work with this system. Agilent has different type of ICP-MS. You can contact any Agilent representative of your country to choice a model. In any situation, to get proper servicing is a major issue for any sophisticated machine. So, when you need to buy a new instrument for your lab, you must need proper servicing for your instrument. Otherwise, you can not properly run your instrument.
This is actually question, but I think this is a good place to ask. I am using a Icap Q to analyse trace metals in my seawater samples (Pre concentrated into a HNO3 matrix). However I had a tuning issue (STD mode) last time (Please see the attached photo). I tried changing the spray chamber, tubing, and sealing off the Ar gas tube. But the problem still persists. The instrument is also used combined with laser ablation for occasionally.
