For years, the University of Derby has faced systemic failures severely hindering our doctoral progression. These failures include administrative mismanagement, inconsistent academic supervision, a lack of due process, and a failure to respond to our formal complaints. Despite repeated internal attempts to resolve these matters, the university has failed to provide meaningful solutions, leaving us with no choice but to escalate our case to external regulatory bodies.

Our case highlights broader concerns about fairness, transparency, and academic integrity within postgraduate education. This is not just about us—this is about ensuring that no other research students face similar injustices in the future.

We will continue our fight for accountability and justice as long as necessary, utilizing all available legal, regulatory, and public channels to raise awareness of these issues. Our commitment to truth and fairness will not waver, and we expect the institutions overseeing higher education to fulfil their duty in upholding student rights.
