For me most basic feature of organizational culture is level of trust versus distrust. See my attached article of high-trust culture in which organizational information and knowledge are provided freely by everyone to everyone.
I view organizational culture as the result of the degree to which an organization appreciates and applies one or more of the 7 tenets shown on the attachment. But, hey, I am only one voice ..:-).

For more than ten years I have been researching the construction of the corporate culture. It is multilayered and complex. I concentrate mainly on the impact of corporate culture on the competitiveness of companies. About the specific question, I have a publication about the paradigms for the study of corporate culture, but it is in Bulgarian.
