For increasing gas recovery in old wells, common methods include the use of compressor & stimulation by fracking or acidizing etc.

However I'm inquisitive to know the use of plunger to increase gas output for wells with active aquifer.

I have 2 questions in this regard:

1) Can members share their research articles on using Compressors & comparison for using in upstream & downstream.?

2) Comment on the use of plungers to extract water from gas wells so that it can reduce BHP to increase & stabilize gas production.?

P.S. Normally Plungers are used for enhancing oil production but I'm interested to know their application in gas recovery
