An unexpected situation arose where the two well-accepted MR pleiotropy analyses, namely the MR-Egger intercept and MR-PRESSO, yielded the opposite results, with the MR-Egger's pval <0.05, while the MR-PRESSO global test's pval>0.05, which indicated that the former detected the genetic pleiotropy but the latter did not.
It was quite unusual as the MR-PRESSO was considered a more sensitive pleiotropy analysis for MR.
There was no heterogeneity and pval for the main analysis ----IVW, was >0.05.
Could someone please teach me how to deal with such pleiotropy results and what I should do next?
