I recently received an invitation as a guest editor from a journal under Open Access Journal Research Center (OAJRC). The OAJRC is not listed in the predatory publishers, but the website looks quite sceptical (http://www.oajrc.com/). It was listed in CNKI as a formal journal publisher(https://scholar.cnki.net/home/search?region=db&val=SJDW, sorry only in Chinese). But I've googled about it but not much information appeared. Do you know more about it? Is it a trustworthy organization to contribute?

I suggest that you rather select journals that are indexed on one the well known indices - refer to the attached lists.
I am and would be very suspicious of any journal that contacts me (9 out of 10 times they are predatory), unless I have a prior relationships with them!

Hi Meng, I did a search on Google and found only one hit in English. I have to agree with Rodney. They have one web page with no links making big claims to offer services which they don't support. I checked on Google Maps and the address and telephone number are for the general number for serviced office in London. So there is no indication as to who is actually behind this. It could just be a mailing address for who knows who. Do they actually publish any journals? I think they are simply saying they could place an article in an Open Access journal which you could do your self. I would look for a journal and approach them directly. If you need help go to the Delft University Library and ask [ https://www.tudelft.nl/en/library/ ]. They deal with these questions everyday and will give you honest, good, impartial and free advice. Like Matt Holland I did some digging and looking at the contact info and Google it I came across the following publisher “Damray”: https://ijmf.damray.com/Journals.aspx they use the same contact info as, and refer themselves to, “Open Access Journal Research Center”.
Red flags are:
-DOAJ logo misleadingly suggests a membership which is not the case.
-Some ISSN nr. of journals are fake (for example https://ijmf.damray.com/ ISSN:2516-1865 use to belong to London U.K.: Qingres Ltd) or lack one (for example https://abr.damray.com/ )
-The no longer existing (?) company Qingres is also linked to http://www.hapres.com/AboutUs.aspx which in terms of lay-out etc. shows strong resemblance with the Damray publisher.
-All journals I checked hardly have any content.
-Suspect a Chinese origin and pretty sure that the London location is misleadingly suggesting that you are dealing with a British publisher/company.
The publisher is too new to be included in the Beall’s list so the fact that they are not included is not telling you much. All together I would say too suspect to get involved with. Better to avoid I would say.
