I doped Sn-Sb alloy with Ti,Cu and Ce elements individually (@ 25 wt % as replacement to Sn). From EDX calculation, the elemental compositions are Sn1.38Sb3.60, Sn0.85Ti0.37Sb3.86, Sn1.27Cu0.68Sb3.30 and Sn0.80Ce0.48Sb4.19. I am wondering why do these alloys exist in different compositions for different dopants. The dopant occupation is very random and I couldn't understand any defined replacement here. Why do they change (increases/decreases) compositions of Sn and Sb while Sb's weight % is not changed during synthesis process? Please clarify.
