I am looking for human cell lines of myeloid or lymphoid lineages which are immortalized but not derived from tumors such as leukemias or lymphomas. Can anyone help me with this? Moreover, since I'd like to stimulate these cells with IL-2 and IL-6, they should express the respective receptors.
I am afraid that most of the available human myeloid cell lines are tumor-derived (such as HL-60, K562 or KG-1). From the microglia point of view (which have characteristics of myeloid cells), BV2 cells are immortalized but not tumor-derived. However, these cells are of murine origin.

This is what I also believe, but maybe somebody expert in the field would have some suggestions. thanks for your answer, however murine cells are not suitable for me at the moment.
EBV-infected LCLs (lymphoblastoid cell lines) in general express IL6R and may respond to exogenous IL6. These are not tumor-derived but generated by in vitro infection of human B lymphocytes with Esptein-Barr virus.

What is your purpose, what is your question? I investigated B cell lymphoma cell lines in vitro (n=3, EBV-) without and after exogenous IL-6. Parameters: membrane expressions of IL-6R and gp130, proliferation, cell cycle phases. If you want I will send you the results. Check SKW6.4, human B lymphoblastoid cell line, EBV transformed. According to literature they should express IL-2 and IL-6.
Also, you could check more cells for example from ATCC. Just search for human lymhoid cells, then you see that most cells are tumor derived but there are also quitt many which are non-tumor derived (usually virus transformed).
@Eva: thank you, I want to check activation of STAT3 and STAT5 in the presence of a compound that should inhibit them. Therefore I want to use IL-6 (for STAT3) and IL-2 (for STAT5). However, I don't want to be in a setting where I have tumor cells.

There are three possibilities to obtain cell lines derived from human normal, (non-tumoral) lymphoid cells: 1) EBV-transformed normal B lymphocytes; 2) Herpes Saimiri Virus-transformed normal T lymphocytes; and 3) IL-2-dependent growth of in vitro activated normal T lymphocytes. Depending on the research purposes, it can be appropriate to use the three methods in order to analyze in parallel B and T cells and/or different subsets of T cells (CD4 vs CD8) obtained by different methods (Saimiri virus vs IL-2-dependent growth). From a technical point of view, according to my experience, of these three methods, EBV-transformation of B cells is the easiest one in terms of generation, cryopreservation and culture. These cell lines are not available as pre-established commercial products, but they are usually generated in the own Lab or provided by another collaborative Lab, although perhaps, nowadays, a commercial company may provide some of these cell lines on request as custom-made products.
On the other hand, to my knowledge, there are no methods to generating cell lines from normal myeloid cells.
