I have been looking for any type of non-aggregating, electrically conducting nanoparticles that are compatible and will remain suspended in non-aqueous solvents e.g. toluene.
Traditionally carbon particles, both nanoparticles and carbon black, have been cited in many publications to form conductive films from non-aqueous solvents containing polymers in solution - however they are prone to aggregation or precipitation from the solvent.
So does anybody out there know of any type of nanoparticle that will remain suspended in the solvent/polymer mixture and not aggregate over time, that will form a conductive film on evaporation. Nanoparticle size may be up to 100nm or even 200nm, however smaller is acceptable.
Please let me know.
