Hi Behera, recently I'm interested in studying  the Ni/Ti thin film regarding its characterization such as shape memory effect, phase transformation or mechanical property. etc. In previous a large number of studies, it almost focused on the biomaterial  application, typically like as curved root canals and bone plate. However, the shape of both wire and rod bulk is used in general.  This is due to the unique property which includes shape memory and super-elasticity. On the other hand, corrosion-resistant property of Ni-Ti alloy is also another merit. So,  I think that the Ni-Ti , Ni-Ti-Nb, or Ni-Ti-Sn. etc., thin films are emerging material for practical application in the marine industrial filed. This is my thought.
