Hey everyone,
I just generated a massive 3,011 digit number that was found to initiate a Collatz sequence that remains divergent for 9,999 consecutive steps — or 10,000 terms including the initial number itself, under the single-step Collatz transformation.
This makes it the first known number to achieve a sequence of 10,000 strictly increasing or non-halving terms under this process.

Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful suggestion — it really means a lot to me!
I actually looked into contributing to Wikipedia a while ago when I tried creating a page about my new (multilingual) programming language.
I found out that you need at least 10 accepted edits and, more importantly, some third-party sources referencing the topic before it can be included.
Since most of my work is self-published for now, it doesn’t quite meet the criteria yet — but I hope that changes soon.

Ah, I see, more difficult than I expected. I guess an example like this would be difficult to publish. However, one journal comes to mind, called Examples and Counterexamples - this might be a fit for them?
