Articles from a journal which is not indexed in Scopus are found exactly as those from journals listed in Scopus. The journal doesn't announce indexing in Scopus in its website. Does it mean a recent acceptance of this journal in this database or there are other explanations?
Dear Rabea A Gadelkareem Do you have an example? Without one I can (like you) only come up with the possibility that the journal is recently accepted and did not announce the indexing yet.

The example is the World Journal of Nephrology. In Scopus database, the articles from this journal are indexed under the category (Documents) which is specified for the indexed journals and not under the category (Secondary documents) which contains the articles extracted from the bibliography of articles published in the indexed journals but their original journals are not directly indexed in Scopus (as described by the database themselves).
For example and regarding the articles, our recently published invited article in World Journal of Nephrology: Gadelkareem RA, Abdelgawad AM, Reda A, Azoz NM, Zarzour MA, Mohammed N, Hammouda HM, Khalil M. Preemptive living donor kidney transplantation: Access, fate, and review of the status in Egypt. World J Nephrol 2023; 12(3): 40-55 [PMID: 37476008 DOI: 10.5527/wjn.v12.i3.40] Hence, I have searched for an explanation for this question.
Now,
After searching in the list you have sent to me, I found the World Journal of Nephrology in the list of recently accepted titles (June 2023) that are in the process of being added to Scopus.
Now, the concern has been resolved.

I do believe that some reputable journals do not consider indexing under Scopus a privilege. In other words, they develop their journals away from such a competition.

Dear Prof. Nawal Fadhil Abbas, thank you very much for this new horizon of answering this question. Of course, I agree with you that it may happen. However, the case here does not seem like that, because the World Journal of Nephrology is a relatively new journal and it has recently been accepted for the process of being indexed in Scopus.
