Dear all,

I was able to identify a new, synthetic molecule which is able to induce expression in bacterial gene regulation (only a particular operon is effected) - The practical use of this observation is not clear (at least to me), but it is fascinating - I would therefore like to publish the discovery to see what others might do with it.

I cannot quite assess the importance of the discovery and would appreciate some input - I suppose a journal focusing on microbiology and molecular biology would be appropriate - which one would you recommend to submit my work to?
