Dear all,

I modeled a pipeline crossing strike slip fault. I used clay soil with 50 kPa cohesion and 0 friction angle (Mohr-Coulomb). My model worked properly without any issues. But when I used sand with 42 degree friction angle and up to 5 kPa cohesion, I had some errors like negative eigenvalues and "The plasticity/creep/connector friction algorithm did not converge ". As far as I know, negative eigenvalues error is related to instabilities in the model. I tried to change boundary conditions and I increase cohesion of the sand. However, my model does not work. Do you know how to deal with these kind of issues?

Thank you very much in advance.
