I think that Nitric Oxide makes myofascia to relax. Consequently an excess of nitric oxide makes myofascia weak and the muscle to bear all the mechanical tension becoming harder and stiffer than its physiological state. This brings to what I call myofascial syndrome which is different from myofascial pain syndrome because pain is not always presen. Myofascial syndrome is a condition in which an excess of nitric oxide in myofascia leads to chronically tensed and hard muscles bringing to a non equilibrium in the entire body of biomechanical stress, usually having as a consequence a slouched posture. Anyone to discuss about this?
