I have a QCM-D Q-Sense. I used to able to see adsorption of polyelectrolyte with Au sensor. I accidentally loaded the sensor up side down and tried to start an experiment today. After I realized and turned it back, I can still connect the instrument with computer and start measurement. Everything looks fine except the adsorption shift. I still have the base lines of both F and D. I can see the F and D shift when I change the flow rate. However, I cannot see any response (adsorption) when i pump polyelectrolytes into the flow cell. I have already tried several different sensors. Even some brand new one.
My solutions are Poly(allylamine hydrochloride), Poly(styrenesulfonate) ,and Polyethylenimine.
Could anyone help me about this?

It's not a fault of your sensor. The part contains electrode (comparatively thinner one) within 2 parts of chambers should not be wet. Dry it properly and try it again.
I faced the similar problem few week ago.
Clean your sensor by using piranha basic solution and clean the chamber and try again.
It happens at times,
Clean and dry the chambers/ check with increased concentrations/ check with some other ligand molecules
