In my dataset of employee performance, how can I use multiple regression to understand the relationships between various independent variables, such as education level, experience, and hours worked, and the dependent variable, job performance?

It depends on how each variable is quantified (especially the dependent variable), and how data are collected.
If all variables are continuous/metric in form, then it's possible the ordinary least squares regression might work for your application.
If data are collected from same cases over time (and change), then you might have to turn to a multilevel model.

Hello Dinesh, can you categorize the independent variables into categories. Education for example; finished year 10, finished high school, degree, diploma, masters, PhD. Can experience be put into categories 1-5 years, 6-10 years etc. Same with hours.
