I am new to using Ansys fluent. I am combustion and use heat of combustion to boil water as shown in figure 2.
I have achieved combustion using species transport model. But my problem is with Multiphase model. I have define 3 phases, phase 1; water liquid, phase 2; water vapour and phase 3; combustion species as shown in figure number 3. There is no interaction between phase 1 and 2 to phase 3. I can't remove the interfacial area between phase 3 and phase 1 in phase interaction of multiphase model as shown in figure 4. I have set none for virtual mass, drag, lift, wall lubrication, turbulence dissipation, turbulence interaction, heat and surface tension between phase 3 and phase 1 and 2. I have use single mechansim of mass transfer from water liquid to vapour as shown in figure number 5. I have used 0 reactions in reaction option as I have select methane air two step reaction using species transport as shown in figure number 6.
My question is: As there no interaction between phase 1 and 2 to phase 3 but multiphase model shows that there is interaction in all three phases?
My second question: Is there is a way to extract heat flux or temperature on
surface shown in figure 7 and use separate fluent model for phase change of liquid water to vapour and how can I achieve it?
