Unfortunately, I am bound by institutional licenses and therefore cannot run in MPlus or SmartPLS, I am bound by SPSS, AMOS and Excel (or Jamovi or JASP). I wish to estimate a multilevel model in AMOS and understand that I can do that by defining a multi-group model with one group being the within model and the other the between model. Each model will use it’s own variance-covariance matrix as data entry. Can anyone tell me how I create those datasets or matrices that I copy paste into a dataset for the within and the between models using SPSS? Apparently, Snijders TAB & Bosker RJ (19). Multilevel Analysis. An introduction to basic and advanced multilevel modeling. SAGE. Pag: 19-20 show how to do this, but, yep, my institution does not have access to that either. Does anyone have a syntax example or description of the point and click of how to write a within and between covariance or correlation matrix such that I can do a model comparison in AMOS? Thank you so much.
