I would like to use Mueller Hinton Broth to test for Salmonella growth and also separately for E.coli (Testing Minimum Inhibitory Concentration). Would I use a cation adjusted broth for these two bacteria or not? Then also can this broth be used to test for mould (Aspergillus brasiliensis) and for yeast as well? Thanks

Mueller Hinton Broth or agar is general media growth and using for bacteria but for molds or yeasts uses potato dextrose broth or agar , in sometime to use the glucose -yeast extract agar or broth for yeasts
